Yes. Aussie Ready needs a connection to load your questions and save your progress, so it will not work in flight mode. Once installed it loads noticeably faster on every visit, but it is not an offline app.

Will my progress and account carry over?

Yes. Log in with the same email you already use and your mock test history, mistake bank, and bookmarks are all there. It is the same account, just a faster way in.
