Pass Guarantee Terms

We are confident in our preparation platform. If you meet the requirements below and do not pass your official Australian Citizenship Test, we refund your purchase in full.

1Definitions

  • "Premium Plan" means the one-time payment plan offering 1 year of premium access to Aussie Ready, as listed on our pricing page at the time of your purchase.
  • "Mock Test" means a completed 20-question, 45-minute timed mock test taken in Aussie Ready's Mock Test mode. Practice mode sessions, quizzes, and abandoned mock tests do not count.
  • "Official Test" means the Australian Citizenship Test administered by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA).
  • "Result Notice" means the official written result you receive from DHA confirming a "Fail" outcome on the Official Test.

2Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund under the Pass Guarantee, you must satisfy all of the following:

  • Have purchased the Premium Plan (one-time payment) directly from Aussie Ready. Weekly subscription plans are not eligible.
  • Have completed at least 10 Mock Tests on Aussie Ready, with each individual Mock Test scoring 90% or higher (18/20 or above). An average across tests does not satisfy this requirement.
  • Have scored 5/5 on the Australian values section in at least 3 separate Mock Tests, reflecting the official pass requirement.
  • Have taken your Official Test within 14 days of your most recent practice session on Aussie Ready.
  • Have taken your Official Test within 1 year of your Premium Plan purchase date.
  • Have used the account solely as the named purchaser. Shared accounts and accounts used by multiple individuals are not eligible.

3How to Claim

If you meet all eligibility criteria and do not pass your Official Test:

  • Email support@aussieready.com.au within 30 days of receiving your Result Notice.
  • Include the email address registered on your Aussie Ready account.
  • Attach a clear copy or photo of your official DHA Result Notice showing a "Fail" result. The full name on the Result Notice must match the name on your Aussie Ready account.
  • Accepted formats: PDF, JPG, or PNG. Forwarded screenshots from third parties are not accepted.

Claims submitted more than 30 days after the Result Notice date will not be processed.

4Refund Process

  • We will review your claim and respond within 7 business days.
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.
  • The refund amount equals the price you paid for the Premium Plan, excluding any third-party processing fees that may be retained by your payment provider.
  • On refund, your Premium access is revoked.

5Exclusions

The Pass Guarantee does not apply where:

  • You did not attempt the Official Test, were turned away (e.g. lack of identification), or did not genuinely attempt all sections.
  • You took the Official Test more than 1 year after purchase.
  • The eligibility requirements in Section 2 are not fully met.
  • The claim is submitted outside the 30-day window in Section 3.
  • The Result Notice is illegible, altered, or cannot be verified as authentic.

6Anti-Abuse

  • One refund per person. Once a refund has been issued, that individual is not eligible for the Pass Guarantee on any future Aussie Ready purchase, including purchases made under different email addresses or names.
  • Multiple accounts identified as belonging to the same individual (via payment method, name, IP, device, or other indicators) will be consolidated for the purposes of this guarantee.
  • Filing a chargeback or payment dispute voids your eligibility under the Pass Guarantee. We will defend chargebacks where these terms have not been followed.
  • Mock Test scores must be earned through genuine attempts. Manipulating scores, automating answers, or otherwise circumventing platform tracking voids eligibility.
  • We reserve the right to investigate suspected fraudulent claims and to withhold refunds pending the outcome of that investigation.
  • We reserve the right to deny any claim that, in our reasonable judgment, is made in bad faith or constitutes abuse of this guarantee.

7Australian Consumer Law

The Pass Guarantee is offered in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8General

  • Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
  • Amendments: We may update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to your claim.
  • Severability: If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
  • No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

Last updated: 4 May 2026. These terms are subject to change, but the terms in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your claim.
